BELLIN, the global provider of corporate banking and treasury technology, has appointed André Scheffknecht to its management team. Scheffknecht joined the company as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) in June, assuming responsibility for BELLIN Group’s international sales activities. His appointment signals BELLIN’s intent to vigorously pursue expansion in international markets, particularly in North America and Asia.

The new face on the management board brings more than 18 years’ experience in international sales and marketing to the post. With his global network of contacts, he will ramp up worldwide sales of BELLIN solutions and play an active part in partner management. Recently, Scheffknecht successfully turned around the fortunes of several ailing international technology companies and sold them on. He began his career with an IT security company, where he developed sales structures in the EMEA, APAC and North America regions.

Scheffknecht’s approach fits perfectly with BELLIN’s philosophy of putting people first. “BELLIN maintains close contact with its clients. We will now further leverage and expand our knowledge of their needs and the solutions which are effective – in combination with developing efficient sales structures – on a global basis,” explains André Scheffknecht. “I am absolutely convinced that sales is about people and a relationship between them. And this is exactly the attitude in evidence at BELLIN,” remarks Scheffknecht, explaining his motivation for joining BELLIN in Ettenheim.
