Deutsche Bank appoints Kaushik Shaparia as APAC Head of Corporate Banking Coverage

Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Kaushik Shaparia as Head of Corporate Banking Coverage for APAC within the bank’s Institutional & Treasury Coverage Group, while retaining his existing role as Head of Global Subsidiary Coverage (GSC) in Global Transaction Banking (GTB).

Mr. Shaparia will be responsible for facilitating greater alignment across Deutsche Bank’s corporate coverage network and for driving the overall corporate client agenda across the bank’s flow Fixed Income & Currencies and GTB businesses. He will report to Louise Kitchen, Co-Head of Institutional & Treasury Coverage, and will continue to report to both David Lynne, who leads the GTB business in APAC and Michael Spiegel, Global Head of Cash Management, in his GSC role. He will remain based in Singapore.

Mr. Shaparia has been with Deutsche Bank for more than 30 years, and has held various roles in India and Singapore across Trade Finance, Cash Management, overall GTB management, and coverage with a particular focus on the corporate side.

This makes him ideally placed to lead our corporate banking coverage function in the region, critical for our continued growth ambitions.”
