Johnson has been appointed Head of EMEA Client Service and Implementation (CS&I), joining the firm’s EMEA payments management team. He has 24 years’ financial services experience, most recently working with Silicon Valley Bank on its client experience team to develop and deliver their strategy for tech startups. His previous roles include European Head of Client Management, Head of Client Service and Director of Operational Risk at firms including HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and Bank of America.

In his new position, which he took up on 1 August, Brook will be a key catalyst for the team as it expands its business across the EMEA region. He will be collaborating with sales, product, technology operations, and all business functional partners to enhance their overall client experience.

Evans has been appointed to his new position at HSBC, where for 25 years he has held a number of roles in the UK and Latin America. Most recently he was MD Payments Advisory, responsible for the bank’s cross-border FX payment services. He previously ran a programme to implement digital cash management services across Latin America. He was also one of the founding members of the team that developed HSBCnet and HSBC Connect.
Evans’ new role is critical serving the growing international payment needs of digital companies. He will be a member of HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) Executive Committee and is based in London, reporting directly to Manish Kohli, Global Head of GPS.
