BNY Mellon appoints Monika Aminiova as EMEA Market Manager for Treasury Services

Published: October 23, 2013

LONDON, 22 October, 2013 – BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has appointed Monika Aminiova to the role of Market Manager within its Treasury Services business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Aminiova will focus on the development and commercialisation of BNY Mellon’s euro, sterling, and multicurrency payments solutions, to position the company as a pre-eminent provider of global payment services. BNY Mellon supports payment transactions in more than 100 currencies.

Based in London, she will report to Peter Hazou, Head of EMEA Market Management, Treasury Services at BNY Mellon. “Aminiova’s knowledge of the Single Euro Payments Area and the UK banking process - as well as the depth of her experience in cash management and global payments - will be invaluable to our clients”, says Hazou. “She arrives at a pivotal moment for BNY Mellon, as we enhance our multicurrency capabilities to deliver innovative solutions in euro clearing”.

Aminiova joins BNY Mellon from Barclays where she was a Market Manager responsible for the development of sector-specific Treasury Services propositions in the UK. Prior to Barclays, Aminiova held a variety of positions at Citigroup in product management, sales management, implementations and relationship management, and operations.
