Citi appoint new EMEA Regional Sales Head for Treasury and Trade Services

Citi have announced the appointment of Steve Elms as the Treasury and Trade Solutions EMEA Regional Sales Head, Corporate and Public Sector. Steve will also oversee TTS EMEA Marketing. Steve’s appointment aligns with the TTS vision to be the leading provider of TTS solutions to clients in EMEA, and around the globe.
In his new role, Steve will lead the TTS EMEA Corporate and Public Sector Sales organization working in close partnership with Banking, GSG and Markets to drive Citi's strategy of accelerating TTS origination and wallet penetration to create sustainable, profitable, revenue growth.
Steve will work with the TTS EMEA team and partners in other regions to design sales strategies that bring unique, value-added solutions to our clients domiciled in the EMEA region. Additionally, Steve will drive the execution of the blueprint to deepen our wallet penetration of foreign multinationals with operations in EMEA, including solutioning for the ICG Emerging Markets Champions, as well as drive product specific sales initiatives.
Steve has been with Citi for over 17 years and has held a diverse number of leadership positions in the Institutional Clients Group. Prior to joining TTS in 2002, Steve held positions in Security Services and Fixed Income Operations, Global Security Services, and Global Markets before joining TTS. Within TTS, Steve has held a range of roles in Operations and Product Management, lastly as TTS EMEA Liquidity Management & Investments Product Head before joining the Sales organisation in 2011.
