HSBC names Eddie Norton as Head of Payments and Cash Management Europe

HSBC has appointed Eddie Norton as Head of Payments and Cash Management (PCM) for Europe.
Commenting on his appointment, Diane S. Reyes, Group General Manager and Global Head of PCM said, “I am delighted to announce that Eddie Norton has been appointed to lead PCM in Europe. Eddie brings considerable experience, skill and expertise to the role in driving growth in revenues across a diverse region.”
HSBC’s Payments and Cash Management business covers 27 countries in Europe and plays an important strategic role, helping companies from emerging markets expand into Europe, and helping customers in Europe expand into fast growing markets globally.
Eddie joins HSBC PCM Europe from his role as Head of Commercial Banking in Latin America where he was responsible for all aspects of Commercial Banking in the region.
Eddie has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, all of which has been with HSBC. Since joining HSBC he has held a wide variety of posts and has extensive experience spanning strategy, credit risk management, personal financial services, and commercial and corporate banking in the UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Americas. He will be based in London.
