J.P. Morgan Asset Management Platform Now Offering Real-time Direct Connection to SAP Treasury Management

Published: October 01, 2020

Users of SAP’s Treasury Management cloud platform can now connect directly with J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s liquidity management platform, Morgan Money.

The solution, which comes as part of the SAP Intelligent Enterprise, offers customers a “real-time dashboard to invest, a single access point for operations, and enhanced risk management controls,” says Paul Przybylski, Head of Product Strategy for Global Liquidity, J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Morgan Money is a multi-currency, open architecture trading and risk management system. The platform is capable of end-to-end system integration. Przybylski told TMI that investments through this connection are fully automated and integrated.

“This is a multipoint integration that allows for seamless and automated connections to allow not only for trade execution but for the full experience and functionality of both Morgan Money and SAP Treasury Management platforms.”

Treasurers have the ability to invest in a wide range of money market mutual funds from various fund providers globally across multiple currencies. “We plan to introduce future investment products in addition to money market funds over time,” Przybylski confirms.

By offering “seamless connectivity and real-time access to investments”, he adds that treasurers will be able to optimise their cash allocation faster and more efficiently “with potential to add incremental yields to the overall portfolio”.

With a similar tie-up announced last week between BNY Mellon and GTreasury, and separately last year with GTreasury and Goldman Sachs Liquidity Solutions, Przybylski told TMI that J.P. Morgan Asset Management is focused on continuing to look at strategic partnerships to expand the reach and enhance the capabilities of its Morgan Money platform, “and this trend is reflected throughout the industry more broadly”.
