Nicolas Cailly Appointed Head of Payments & Cash Management at Societe Generale

Societe Generale announces the appointment of Nicolas Cailly as Head of Payments & Cash Management within the Global Transaction and Payment Services business unit, as of October 15th, 2021. Based in Paris, Nicolas reports to Alexandre Maymat, Head of Global Transaction and Payment Services.

In his new role, Nicolas will build on and further develop the growth strategy for Societe Generale’s Cash Management franchise which has been recognised for its success in recent years, as evidenced by the recent awards for “Best Bank for Cash Management in Western Europe and CEE 2021” and “Best Bank for Payments and Collections in Africa 2021” by Global Finance.

Nicolas Cailly joined Societe Generale in 2010 within the Finance and Development Department, where he was responsible for the creation of the Bucharest Financial Shared Services Center. He joined SG Consulting in 2013 where he led numerous strategic business development and transformation initiatives in the Group. Within the Global Transaction Banking business unit, he became Deputy Head of the Payments and Cash Management Products in 2016, was appointed Head of Payments and Liquidity Management Solutions in 2018 and became Deputy Head of Payments & Cash Management in 2020.

Nicolas is a graduate of ISG and London Business School. He has also followed a Management and Leadership course at the Yale School of Management.
