Nordea announce new Head of Trade and WCM Sales

Published: January 31, 2017

Stockholm / Copenhagen – Patrik Zekkar has been appointed as the new Head of Nordea Trade & WCM Sales. Zekkar will take up the position as of 1 February 2017.

“My immediate focus is to increase the collaboration within Nordea across the Nordics in order to maximise the benefits we can deliver to our customers as the largest and top-rated bank in our market,” commented Zekkar.

“The benefits will be seen in a stronger customer offering, higher productivity and new opportunities for customers and also for our employees in Transaction Banking. The path ahead will be defined by our ambition to continue our digital journey,” Zekkar outlined.

Zekkar has previously held senior positions in corporate banking, trade finance and supply chain management, project and export finance, and cash management at a number of major banks and corporates.

“I am inspired and excited, but still very humble when I consider the possibilities of this role.” Zekkar concluded.
