Published: October 26, 2017

SEB, the Nordic corporate bank, has appointed Nick Blake as its Head of Transaction Services for their Large Corporate and Financial Institution business in the UK.

Nick has over thirty years of experience within the banking sector, particularly in transaction services. He has held management and sales positions at several major financial institutions including JP Morgan, RBS and HSBC.

Mark Luscombe, Head of SEB UK, said: “This appointment comes at a time when SEB is increasing its coverage of UK Corporates and developing its UK business. Based in London, Nick will contribute his industry experience to the team, reporting globally to Paula Da Silva, Head of Transaction Services and locally to myself.”

Nick Blake, Head of Transaction Services in the UK at SEB, said: “I look forward to working with my colleagues at SEB to support the transaction services business in the UK, helping to meet evolving client needs.”

Mark Cooper, who has to date been heading up Transaction Services in the UK, will with his many years of strong service for SEB provide continuity by taking on a senior role in the team as a business manager focusing on SEB’s UK corporate clients, further strengthening the transaction services sales team.
