SunGard Tops Eight Categories in Energy Risk Magazine’s 2015 Rankings

Published: March 19, 2015

SunGard has been ranked number one in eight categories of Energy Risk magazine's annual Software Rankings 2015.

This year, SunGard led the way among energy trading and risk management (ETRM) system vendors with the most 1st and 2nd place rankings as well as achieving eight #1 spots, topping the six received last year.

SunGard was voted the best ETRM system for emissions trading, power, best market knowledge, regulatory compliance, middle-office system, back-office system, operational risk and access to multiple OTC and cleared energy markets.

“SunGard’s performance in this year’s rankings are a clear reflection of our commitment and investment to improving the overall customer experience from both a support and technology perspective,” said Andrew Bateman, president of SunGard’s energy business. “These results demonstrate the breadth of our solutions and reflect our dedication to helping companies adapt to market challenges by using technology as a strategic and competitive advantage.”

SunGard’s energy business supports more than 500 customers around the world with a comprehensive suite of products and services that cover the front, middle and back offices, as well as market data, and power and gas operations, industrial consumers, and exchanges. In addition, SunGard offers a comprehensive consulting practice that spans system integration, data warehousing and compliance advisory.
