TMI Announces New Deputy Editor

Published: September 02, 2020

Tom Alford

We are delighted to announce a brilliant new hire to our Editorial team: the hugely experienced Tom Alford is joining TMI as our Deputy Editor.

“We're thrilled to welcome Tom on board to help support TMI’s digital expansion,” said Robin Page, CEO, TMI. “Growing our editorial team will allow us to offer even more high quality content for readers - at a time when treasurers are increasingly looking for insight and best practice - and go even further in support of our industry partners during challenging times”.

Tom has been writing about the international financial services sector for almost 20 years. Starting in banking technology, he broadened his scope with moves into the wholesale and retail banking sectors, and corporate treasury, the latter of which he has been covering for almost a decade. A keen musician and sonic experimenter, he is most at home with the volume on 11.

One of Tom's first projects will be the exciting new TMI Innovations Lab. Watch this space!
