Does treasury transformation mean something beyond technology adoption?
Eleanor Hill (TMI) sat down with Zoetis’ Michel Verholen in Luxembourg at the recent Treasury 360° Europe conference to challenge the idea that transformation starts and ends with a new technology stack.
Verholen reflects on what it takes to build a function that can continuously evolve, from laying the right foundations for future capabilities to recognising the human cost of a major programme. With AI adding another tier of uncertainty, he considers where it can genuinely add value and argues why taking small, considered steps may be more effective than trying to design the perfect fucntion from the outset.
