Nicolas Moreau has been appointed CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management, succeeding Sri Chandrasekharan who is moving to another senior role within the HSBC Group after seven years in the post.
Nicolas was most recently CEO of DWS, a leading European Asset Management company, and a Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank. He joined HSBC in September and will be based in London. Prior to DWS, Nicolas was Chairman and Chief Executive of AXA France and a member of the AXA Group Management Committee from 2009. From 2006 to 2010, he was Group Chief Executive of AXA UK and Ireland. During this time, he was also a member of the Board of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and Chairman of the ABI Health committee.
