BofA Merrill Implements CashPro® Any2Any Solution for Global Payments’ Taiwan Branch

TAIPEI – Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA Merrill) Global Transaction Services (GTS) today announced the implementation of its CashPro® Any2Any for Global Payments Asia-Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited, Taiwan Branch (GPAP), a leading worldwide provider of payment processing services, including 11 markets across the Asia Pacific region. In mandating BofA Merrill GTS, GPAP now has the advantage of processing larger payment volumes for its Taiwan merchant base on a daily basis.

BofA Merrill’s Any2Any is a client-centric platform that processes clients’ transactions received in any file format, enabling enhanced systems integration between corporations and their banking partners. Powered by a repository of pre-mapping and integration capabilities developed in-house the bank, the solution is compatible with all major industry file formats including EDI, ISO XML, SAP IDOC. It also provides the flexibility of accepting a client’s own payments files in any format.

Furthermore, the solution supports both initiation of payments and bank statement reporting and provides seamless integration to CashPro® Online, BofA Merrill’s worldwide client access channel and CashPro® Connect, its suite of host-to-host, global file access solutions.

“Across Asia Pacific, clients are demanding flexible solutions that can integrate with a variety of back-end systems with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations,” said Ivo Distelbrink, head of Global Transaction Services, Asia Pacific. “The Any2Any solution ticks these boxes and allows Global Payments not only the benefits of improved payments infrastructure in its strategically important Taiwan market, but also the security of a banking partner with extensive international capabilities to support other businesses in various geographies.”

With its state-of-the-art payment processing technology and long-standing industry expertise, Global Payments enables merchants to maximize sales across customer touch points, ranging from brick and mortar retailers to eCommerce stores.

“Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s efficient support network and detailed preparatory work ensured that the implementation of this solution was both smooth and within our expected timeline. On the strength of this solution, we are delighted to continually offer superior payment processing solutions to our merchant customers, and look forward to further opportunities to partner with Bank of America Merrill Lynch,” said Hermia Lee, Treasury director of GPAP.
