NEW YORK – BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and investment services, has appointed Dominic Broom global head of trade sales for the company’s Treasury Services business. The new role for Broom, an experienced transaction banking leader who previously served as head of sales & relationship management for EMEA, highlights a series of Treasury Services appointments focused on key areas of sales and product development.

Other appointments announced by BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services business include Elaine Friedman moving into a new role as head of global product planning, analysis and strategic support; Chris Mager named head of global innovation; Mark Ridley named to a new position as head of financial institutions sales & relationship management for North America; and Joanne Scheier appointed head of corporates sales & relationship management for North America.

“Trade services are fundamental to many of our banking relationships, and this new responsibility for Dominic reinforces the commitment we made to the space last fall when Joon Kim joined our trade team as global head of trade product management,” said Ian Stewart, executive vice president and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services business. “Dominic and Joon are bringing an extraordinary depth of experience and expertise to our support for clients in the trade space. Their collaboration is characteristic of what’s driving all of the changes we’re announcing today: making sure we have outstanding sales and product leaders positioned in all of our key market segments, and relying on their leadership to enhance our clients’ experience with BNY Mellon.”
