HSBC appoints new Regional Head of Business Development for Global Trade and Receivables Finance, Asia-Pacific

Sriram Muthukrishnan has been appointed HSBC’s Managing Director and Regional Head of Business Development for Global Trade and Receivables Finance, Asia-Pacific. 

Sriram will be responsible for HSBC’s Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) business development and client management activities across the Global Banking and Commercial Banking Large Corporate segments. Sriram has 20 years of experience spanning relationship management, credit risk, transaction banking and trade finance in Asia and the Middle East.

Sriram will report into Simon Constantinides, HSBC’s Regional Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance for Asia-Pacific, and Bart Ras, HSBC’s Global Head of Business Development for Global Trade and Receivables Finance.  Simon Constantinides commented on this appointment, “This is a key senior leadership role within Asia GTRF focused on driving how we deliver dynamic trade and working capital solutions to our multi-national clients across multiple geographies in which they operate and into which they are expanding.  Sriram’s regional experience across multiple international trade disciplines compliments our global trade and receivables leadership position across Asia Pacific.”
