Business award recognizes innovation and personal commitment among SMEs
In a glittering ceremony on November 7, 2014, 45 finalists met in the competition Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 in the German Historical Museum in Berlin. Martin Bellin, founder and CEO of BELLIN, was among the finalists. The award is one of the most distinguished honors for entrepreneurs in Germany. The consulting firm EY identifies and recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs of German SMEs that have achieved impressive growth rates, high innovation and social engagement. This year, the prize was awarded in four categories: services/IT, industrial, consumer goods/retail and start-up.
For the fourth year in a row, Martin Bellin is one of the finalists and is again this year among the best. He
is pleased with the success: “I am very happy to be up front again this year – especially given the fact that the categories were significantly reduced and, therefore, the hurdles even greater. For more than 15 years, with our modern concepts and forward-looking solutions, we have been promoting the idea that treasury is the third pillar of financial management worldwide next to Accounting and Controlling. Prestigious award for German entrepreneurs
The Entrepreneur Of The Year Award is judged by an independent jury and honors business excellence in different categories in over 60 countries and is being awarded in Germany in 2014 for the 18th time. The award criteria include the personal commitment of the entrepreneur, the sustainable development of the company, its innovation and vision, and the future potential.
“Through its demanding criteria and top ranking judges, the entrepreneur award has had a prestigious
reputation for many years,” states Peter Deutsch, Global Leader of EY Family Business Center of Excellence, who is responsible for the German entrepreneur award.
