  • Partnership with Dorsum delivers powerful online brokerage capabilities

Misys has partnered with Dorsum, an innovative investment software provider, to integrate online brokerage functionality in its Misys FusionBanking Essence digital channels software. The new FusionBanking Essence Online Investments solution enables banks’ clients to execute full-scale retail brokerage activity seamlessly from their online banking account.

Alex Bray, Retail Channels Director at Misys said: ‘As digital banking has become ubiquitous, online investment capabilities are the next big differentiator for banks. By integrating Dorsum’s online brokerage tools into FusionBanking Essence, we can keep our clients one step ahead and help them to meet their clients’ expectations.’

Róbert Kő, CEO at Dorsum added: ‘The increasing popularity of digital tools requires banks to provide comprehensive digital solutions for their customers. Customers’ needs have shifted well beyond simple online banking as they seek simpler access to their investment portfolio. Our solutions are specifically designed for this market and will further extend the Misys portfolio of digital banking services.’

Misys FusionBanking Essence Online Investments delivers a compelling user experience with a wide range of investment functionality. Customers can invest in exchange-traded and OTC assets including equities, bonds and mutual funds; and have access to investment reports including portfolio & position overview, profit & loss and transaction history, direct from their online banking account.

The solution also includes risk profile tests so that banks’ customers can conduct trades in line with their own personal risk profile and ensure that they are compliant with regulation such as MiFID.
