Hong KongReval, the leading global provider of a scalable cloud platform for Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), announced today that financial industry veteran Andrew Gershon will lead Reval’s strategic sales team in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Gershon will be based in Reval’s Hong Kong office, heading up the team as Regional Vice President and Country Manager.

“Andy has strong financial markets expertise, and he understands well the challenges companies face meeting their financial risk management and liquidity objectives,” says Tony Singleton, Reval Managing Director, APAC. “We’re excited to have him lead our team in the region, especially at this time when companies are increasingly turning to the cloud to manage their expanding treasury initiatives.” Gershon’s appointment comes as part of Reval’s continuing investment in the region.

“Companies are feeling the pain of FX volatility and post-merger challenges, but they are operating on outdated technology or no technology at all,” Gershon says. “We want to help companies move to the cloud with an affordable solution that can bring real value to their organizations and make growth easy. Reval has a great reputation for its technology, which has proven to bring tangible value to Reval’s clients.”

Mr. Gershon has over 30 years of experience in technology and finance. He started his career with the London Stock Exchange and Chase Manhattan Bank in Equities and Equities Derivatives and Sales Trading.
