Hamburg, Germany: The financial software specialist Hanse Orga has acquired the Berlin-based SOPLEX Consult company, making it part of the Hanse Orga Group. The portfolio of the credit and receivables management solutions provider will therefore in the future complement the product and service portfolio of Hanse Orga, a software and services specialists in the fields of payment transactions, receipt processing, cash management, liquidity planning, treasury, eBAM, and working capital. The transaction is the first result of the investment strategy that was developed for Hanse Orga by Lindemann family holding in conjunction with Waterland in September.

SOPLEX operates in a product segment closely related to Hanse Orga, making SOPLEX a useful addition. Its solutions are also integrated in SAP. The acquisition allows Hanse Orga to distribute the successful SOPLEX products on a significantly broader platform, especially abroad where there is a strong demand for such offerings.
Founded in 2003, SOPLEX is one of Germany’s leading providers on the market for credit and receivables management systems. SOPLEX offers companies a comprehensive, highly integrated SAP system software solution for optimizing credit and receivables management as well as supplier rating. SOPLEX software products are used by more than 300 customers working in over 40 business sectors and in 100 countries worldwide, including production, industry, retail, services, health care, logistics, telecommunications, publishing, and energy. About 40 employees are responsible for international customer care, implementing modern, SAP-based solutions for supplier rating and credit and receivables management. The Berlin company headquarters will remain in place as part of the integration.
In September, Lindemann family holding signed an investment agreement with Waterland. Both partners want to provide the software provider Hanse Orga with significant resources for further growth in coming years. Headquartered in Hamburg, Hanse Orga offers corporate customers software solutions and consulting services on topics such as payment transactions, liquidity management, working capital management, and treasury. With over 1,300 business customers, the company is one of Germany’ leading addresses. As many as 15 of the DAX 30 companies use Hanse Orga solutions or collaborate with the software specialist.
