Surecomp releases DOKA NG software

Hamburg, Germany – Surecomp®, the global provider of trade finance solutions for banks and corporations, announced today the release and immediate availability of DOKA NG®. This new product was developed by Surecomp engineers utilizing state of the art technology and is based on Surecomps’ popular DOKA system which has been used by banks for over 30 years. DOKA NG is currently being implemented at four customer sites, three of which are new Surecomp customers.

“The pleasant and modern graphical user interface is the first thing that customers notice”, said Jochen Oberländer who is both the DOKA NG architect and the general manager of Surecomp’s Hamburg office. “We are pleased to introduce many new features including an export finance module and an intuitive contract overview.” Oberländer continued to discuss how DOKA NG was designed to be intuitive, even for first time users; “users don’t need to organize the program themselves, DOKA NG thinks and tracks progress for you.”

DOKA NG was built to empower banks. Highlights include enhanced security, a predictive search that directly presents results to users whilst they are typing and a management dashboard that provides an overview of daily business in a graphically enhanced format using pie charts and bar graphs. An efficient migration process has been developed for existing DOKA users whom elect to upgrade to DOKA NG.

“It is fitting for DOKA NG to be released during this year of Surecomp’s thirtieth anniversary” said Yaron Hupert, Senior VP of Global Account Management. “Historically, DOKA has been marketed in Europe, DOKA NG is now being sold internationally, further cementing our position as the global industry leader for trade finance solutions. I congratulate my colleagues on the release of DOKA NG, it represents Surecomp’s innovative attitude and is a microcosm for where we are headed as a company in the increasingly digital world of trade finance.”
