UniCredit strengthens Corporate & Investment Banking with new appointments in Financing & Advisory

UniCredit today announced new responsibilities for senior managers within the Corporate & Investment Banking Division’s Global Financing & Advisory business, effective immediately, which are in line with the further strengthening and fine tuning of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division announced in London on the 13th December 2016.

In Global Syndicate & Capital Markets, Luca Domina and Paolo Garzarelli have been named Co-Heads of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Italy, based in Milan. In this role they will be responsible for all ECM origination and execution activities in Italy and report to Stefania Godoli, Global Head of Equity Capital Markets.

Carolina Marazzini has been appointed Head of Debt Origination Italy, based in Milan, reporting to Clemens Popp, Head of Debt Origination.

In Financial Sponsor Solutions, Filippo Jacazio and Diego Napolitano have been appointed as Co-Heads of Financial Sponsor Solutions Italy, based in Milan, and Volker Kruse Head of Financial Sponsor Solutions Germany, based in Munich, reporting to Alexander Tumminelli, Head of Financial Sponsor Solutions. The Financial Sponsor Solutions teams deliver corporate and investment banking services to private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.

In Corporate Finance Advisory, which includes M&A advisory, Alexander Arauner has been named Head of Corporate Finance Advisory Germany, based in Munich, reporting to Pietro Rey and Klaus Vukovich, Co-Heads of Corporate Finance Advisory.

In Austria, Christian Federspieler has been named Head of Financing & Advisory Austria, based in Vienna, reporting to Dieter Hengl, Head of CIB Austria, and Richard Burton and Andreas Mayer, Co-Heads of Global Financing & Advisory.

In Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), Matteo Pietropoli has been named Head of CEE Financing, based in Vienna, reporting to Andrea Diamanti, Head of CEE Corporate & Investment Banking.
