NatWest Appoints Jonathan Peberdy as CEO of NatWest Markets

NatWest Group has announced the appointment of Jonathan Peberdy as CEO, NatWest Markets, subject to regulatory approval. Jonathan has been Deputy CEO of NatWest Markets since August last year, and succeeds Robert Begbie, CEO, Commercial & Institutional in the role.

Jonathan has been at NatWest for 25 years and has held a number of roles in that time, most recently as Head of Capital Markets where he played a key role in the transformation of the Markets business.

Robert Begbie, CEO, Commercial & Institutional, NatWest Group said: “I'm delighted to appoint Jon to lead our Markets business, where he will play a crucial role in building out the next phase of the franchise. Jon brings a wealth of experience and skills to the role, and I look forward to working closely with him to build on our success.”

Jonathan will become an Executive Director and a member of the NatWest Markets Plc board in due course.
