SunGard Treasury Systems (STS) approaches Straight Through Processing through the delivery of a full service, based upon the integration of its core treasury solutions with the major internal and external parties who provide information to (or require information from) the corporate treasury. The internal parties involved may include operating entities such as subsidiaries, business units and the clients of an in-house bank, as dictated by the company’s infrastructure andorganisation. Major external service providers include banks, brokers, fund managers, BTB exchanges and market information providers. The key to SunGard’s STP solution for corporate clients is their eTreasury eXchange (‘eTX’) technology platform, which provides the three necessary components which enable their corporate clients to take full advantage of STP benefits.
